When John Rose isn’t writing about food or travel, he keeps busy as the international award-winning creative director and founder
of Rose Advertising Ltd. — the first independent American advertising agency to enter the former Soviet Union in 1989. John has been
marketing consultant and adviser to numerous multinational companies. And throughout his career, he has written and produced thousands of ads
and commercials for many of the world’s best-known brands. He is also
a frequent speaker and writer on a variety of marketing-related topics. John conceived and edited the best-selling “Marriott
Hot Shoppes Cookbook, Sixty Years Of American Cookery” and is the author of “The Vodka Cookbook,” soon to be published
by Kyle Cathie Ltd. in association with Smirnoff Vodka. He lives in Moscow with a woman smart enough to know better and their
son who thinks his papa is the greatest cook in the world.
